I'm Kimi :) Your average eighteen year old residing in sunny UK who loves doing her nails after finally breaking the horrible habit of biting them.
I am by no means a professional, I'm strictly amateur, but I enjoy all the nail art I do :) I really do hope this blog is an inspiration to all you nail-biters out there - this is proof! The habit can indeed be broken :D
As Cee Lo Green would say ‘Bright Lights Bigger City’. I think I saw these done by someone on tumblr a while ago and thought I’d give it a shot. Can’t remember who though D: Sorry about the wear on the tips, even though I’ve only worn these a day :( I really need to invest in a good top coat!
Been wanting to try out these bad boys for a while now; these were inspired by Katy Perry’s hilarious music video for Last Friday Night (Which I totally think you should all check out if you haven’t already, if not for Kathy Beth Terry & the laughs then at least for the 15 seconds or so that the supermegafoxyawesomehot Darren Criss graces the screen). I swear that man is a god. & oh dear, it seems I’ve somewhat let out my StarKid obsession……whoops.

Sorry I haven’t put up any pics recently. I had a major case of nails chipping & snapping so they’ve been slathered with nothing but nail envy & top coat for a few days! They’re all really short now which is vair disappointing :( I’ve got prom tomorrow and I still need to come up with an appropriate design xD

And I mean the tv series, not Shyamalan’s rubbish movie knock-off which I haven’t even bothered to watch because it had such bad reviews D: Please excuse the cuticles, I haven’t been looking after them recently :P

I had an almost-empty bottle of clear polish so I decided I might as well try out frankening again. My polish collection lacks any decent shades of green which prompted me to put together this polish - it came out as a lovely dark teal with a slight shimmer :) It was quite sheer, this is around 3 coats. I used some unnamed sheer yellow and Ulta3 Hollywood to create this :) First two photos are outdoors in direct sunlight and the last one is indoors.
Now, anyone got any naming ideas?
