I am by no means a professional, I'm strictly amateur, but I enjoy all the nail art I do :) I really do hope this blog is an inspiration to all you nail-biters out there - this is proof! The habit can indeed be broken :D
Random retro/abstract nail design :) These were inspired by luxuriousnails’ amazing video tutorial.
Nubar 2010 over Avon Nailwear Pro Gunmetal. My attempts to capture the gorgeous beauty of the rainbow present do this polish absolutely no justice whatsoever. I also layered nubar 2010 over a dark blue polish which made my fingertips look like little opals. Lovely
My nubars have arrived :) can’t wait to try them out!
Forget glitter, these are a total beast to take off. Anyone have any tips/ideas? :)
…layering glitters & flakies over dark colours :) Wow, they’re gorgeous! I decided I just had to get my hands on some more of the shiny stuff so I’ve ordered Nubar’s 2010 & Sour Candy from eBay <3 Exciting! Can’t wait for them to arrive.
I’ve also been obsessed with lovely hexagon glitter polishes but can’t seem to find them anywhere in the UK and I’ve almost gone crazy looking for them. Sadface. I know Deborah Lippmann does some amazing hexy glitters but they are a little bit too expensive for me D: Anyone know of any cheaper alternatives, apart from Nubar Sour Candy?
Unfortunately I haven’t had the time to post these last couple of weeks and I’m really sorry about that. I’ve decided to take a short break from tumblr, or at least until I get some of my GCSEs out of the way. Haha, I even filed my nails down really short hoping I wouldn’t be tempted to do them and instead concentrate on studying so I’m really sorry that I haven’t put up anything new but I really hope to be back up and running in the course of the next few weeks :) My exams don’t finish until the end of June but rest assured, I will be back before then :D Thank you so much everyone and happy painting!
