…Nubar Reclaim arrives in the mail, your first ever linear holo, so you rush to get it on your fingertips, (while it’s a lovely sunny day in the UK) only to find that the sun has decided to hide itself for the rest of the day straight after you put it on -.-
How I loathe British weather.
My take on rainbow nails, inspired by the amazing madmanis. Thought I’d incorporate a ‘funky french’ into the look.
Had a bit of a depressing day yesterday, I think a splash of colour was just what I needed!

Nails Inc. Victoria topped with Nubar 2010. What a beauty. What a paint to photograph.
Despite taking about a hundred shots from all 360 angles, I could not for the life of me get the brilliant green colour-shift to shine through.
Victoria is a lovely red wine coloured jelly. Slightly streaky in places but the amazing gloss given by this polish pretty much compensates for that. In lower lighting, the flakies from Nubar 2010 change colour from a burnt red to a bright orange hue and finally settle to an electrifying green - one word - beautiful.

This is so much more glittery IRL -.-
I assumed that the purple/green duochrome-y colour shift of Color Club Alias would show up best with two coats over black (As is the unwritten rule of duo/multichromes - always layer over black) but no, this one was set out to be unique! Next time I’ll try it on it’s own and hope that achieves bottle colour.
No nail art this week as I’ve just been too busy :( Will try to get something done over the weekend. Message me any requests because I’ve been a slacker for inspiration lately!
Contest entry for a youtube nail art contest. The theme was ‘Love’ or ‘Valentine’s Day’ so I immediately thought of Cupid ;)
